इह वत्स्यति कल्याणी सत्कृता मम वेश्मनि । इति पार्था विजानीध्वमगदं वो<स्तु सर्वश:,विदुर बोले--कुन्तीकुमारो! राजपुत्री आर्या कुन्ती वनमें जाने लायक नहीं हैं। वे कोमल अंगोंवाली और वृद्धा हैं, सदा सुख और आरामके ही योग्य हैं; अतः वे मेरे ही घरमें सत्कारपूर्वक रहेंगी। यह बात तुम सब लोग जान लो। मेरी शुभ कामना है कि तुम वहाँ सर्वथा नीरोग एवं सुखसे रहो

Transliteration

iha vatsyati kalyāṇī satkṛtā mama veśmani | iti pārthā vijānīdhvam agadaṁ vo 'stu sarvaśaḥ ||

Translation

Vidura berkata: “Wanita mulia itu akan tinggal di sini, di rumahku sendiri, dengan penuh penghormatan. Ketahuilah ini, wahai putera-putera Pṛthā. Semoga kamu semua bebas sepenuhnya daripada penderitaan.”
