युधिष्ठिरस्य धनंजय-प्रति गर्हा
Yudhiṣṭhira’s Reproach to Dhanaṃjaya
एवं योधशतान्याजौ सहस्राण्ययुतानि च । हतानीयुर्महीं देहैर्यशसा पूरयन् दिश:
evaṁ yodhaśatāny ājau sahasrāṇy ayutāni ca | hatānīyur mahīṁ dehair yaśasā pūrayan diśaḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: “Demikianlah di medan perang, beratus-ratus pahlawan—bahkan beribu-ribu dan berpuluh-puluh ribu—dibunuh; bumi diliputi jasad, sementara segenap penjuru dipenuhi kemasyhuran mereka yang gugur.”
