दृष्टवा भीमेन महतीं वार्यमाणां चमूं तव । धृष्टद्युम्नमुवाचेदं कुम्भयोनिं निवारय,भीमसेनके द्वारा आपकी विशाल सेनाका निवारण होता देख उन्होंने धृष्टद्युम्नसे इस प्रकार कहा--'वीर! तुम द्रोणाचार्यको आगे बढ़नेसे रोको

dṛṣṭvā bhīmena mahatīṁ vāryamāṇāṁ camūṁ tava |
dhṛṣṭadyumnam uvācedaṁ kumbhayoniṁ nivāraya ||
Sañjaya berkata: Melihat bala tentera tuan yang besar ditahan oleh Bhīma, dia berkata kepada Dhṛṣṭadyumna: “Wahai wira, halang Kumbhayoni (Droṇa) daripada mara.”
