स नो दिष्टयास्त्रसम्पन्नश्नक्षु्िषयमागत: । कर्तार: सम वयं कर्म यच्चिकीर्षाम हृदूगतम्‌,“अब हमारे सौभाग्यसे अर्जुन स्वयं ही अस्त्र-शस्त्र धारण करके आँखोंके सामने आ गये हैं। इस दशामें हम मन-ही-मन जो कुछ करना चाहते थे, वह प्रतिशोधात्मक कार्य अवश्य करेंगे

sa no diṣṭyāstrasampannaḥ sākṣu-viṣayam āgataḥ | kartāraḥ sma vayaṁ karma yac cikīrṣāma hṛdūgatam ||

“Kini, dengan tuah kami, Arjuna—lengkap bersenjata—telah datang tepat di hadapan pandangan. Maka sekarang kami pasti akan melaksanakan perbuatan yang telah lama kami tekadkan dalam hati.”
