Wahai Raja, orang Matsya bersama kaum Somaka mengikuti jejak mereka.

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how armies move by imitation and allegiance: once leading warriors commit, allied groups and elite chariot-fighters follow, intensifying the conflict. Ethically, it points to the power—and danger—of collective momentum when dharma is under strain.

Matsya forces, along with the Somakas, advance following the same course as the principal fighters. On the opposing side, the formidable chariot-warriors aligned with the Kaurava prince also surge forward, indicating coordinated movement and mounting pressure in the battle.
