अलंबलवधः (Alaṃbala-vadhaḥ) / The Slaying of Alaṃbala and the Advance toward Karṇa
हयोगग्रैर्महावेगैहेंमभाण्डवि भूषितै: । युक्त समारुह्मु च तं विमानप्रतिमं रथम्
hayograiḥ mahāvegaiḥ hemabhāṇḍa-vibhūṣitaiḥ | yuktaṃ samāruhya ca taṃ vimāna-pratimaṃ ratham ||
Sañjaya berkata: Setelah memasang kuda-kuda yang pantas dan gagah, berhias kelengkapan emas, mereka pun menaiki kereta itu—indah bagaikan kenderaan langit—siap untuk gelombang pertempuran seterusnya. Bait ini menegaskan bahawa tekad perang bukan sekadar niat, tetapi terzahir melalui persiapan yang berdisiplin dan kesiagaan yang bermaruah, seakan-akan bersifat ritual.
