Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s advance toward Droṇa and the Sātyaki–Karṇa confrontation

tatas tasya viyogena pāpaṃ me ’narthato bhavet | rakṣitaś ca mayā yasmāt tasmāt krudhyasi kiṃ mayi ||

Jadi mengapa engkau menumpahkan amarahmu kepadaku?”

Educational Q&A

Arjuna argues that protecting a loyal ally is a moral obligation in war: allowing a valued companion to perish when one can protect him would burden one with blameworthy demerit, while friends likewise must uphold their duty to protect their king.

Arjuna defends his decision to protect Sātyaki in the midst of the great battle, stating that Sātyaki’s death before his eyes would have caused him grievous moral distress; therefore he intervened, and he questions why the other party is angry with him for doing so.
