स रथ: प्रद्रुत: संख्ये मण्डलानि सहस्रश: । चकार राजतो राजन् भ्राजमान इवांशुमान्,राजन! वह चाँदीका बना हुआ रथ- युद्धस्थलमें दौड़ लगाता हुआ हजारों चक्कर काटता रहा। उस समय उसकी अंशुमाली सूर्यके समान शोभा हो रही थी
sa rathaḥ pradrutaḥ saṅkhye maṇḍalāni sahasraśaḥ | cakāra rājato rājan bhrājamāna ivāṃśumān ||
Sañjaya berkata: Di tengah pertempuran, kereta itu dipacu sepantas-pantasnya, berputar dalam ribuan lingkaran. Wahai Raja, ia bersinar cemerlang—bagaikan matahari dengan sinarnya—memperlihatkan kemegahan diraja di tengah keganasan perang.
