यथोपदिष्टमाचार्य: कार्य: पजचगुणो रथ: । “इस संग्राममें नाना प्रकारके आयुधोंका उसी प्रकार संग्रह कर लेना चाहिये, जैसा कि आचार्योने उपदेश किया है। रथपर रखी जानेवाली युद्धसामग्री पहलेसे पाँचगुनी कर देनी चाहिये

Transliteration

yathopadiṣṭam ācāryaḥ kāryaḥ pañcaguṇo rathaḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: “Kereta perang hendaklah disediakan tepat seperti yang diajarkan oleh para guru. Dalam pertempuran ini, pelbagai jenis senjata mesti dikumpulkan dan disusun menurutnya; dan bekalan kelengkapan tempur di atas kereta hendaklah digandakan lima kali lebih awal.”
