ततस्तमेकं बहव: परिवार्य समन्तत: । परिकाल्य कुरून् सर्वान् शरवर्षरवाकिरन्
tatas tam ekaṁ bahavaḥ parivārya samantataḥ | parikālya kurūn sarvān śaravarṣa-ravākiran ||
Sañjaya berkata: Lalu ramai pahlawan mengepung wira tunggal itu dari segenap penjuru. Setelah menghalau semua kaum Kuru ke segala arah, mereka pun mula mencurahkan hujan anak panah yang mengaum ke atasnya.
