Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
तत एनमुपाजग्मुरमात्या: सपुरोहिता: । बलस्था गणिकायुक्ता: सर्वा: प्रकृतयस्तथा,तदनन्तर उनके पीछे-पीछे मन्त्री, पुरोहित, सेनापति, नर्तकियाँ तथा समस्त प्रजावर्गके लोग चले
tata enam upājagmur amātyāḥ sapurohitāḥ | balasthā gaṇikāyuktāḥ sarvāḥ prakṛtayas tathā ||
Bhishma berkata: Kemudian, para menteri mengiringi baginda bersama pendeta istana; panglima angkatan; para dayang dan penari istana; serta seluruh golongan rakyat negeri itu—semuanya bergerak beriringan di belakangnya dengan tertib.
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights an ideal political and social harmony: ministers (policy), priest (ritual-legitimacy), military leadership (security), and the broader populace (the realm’s constituents) move together in support of orderly rule, implying that dharma in governance depends on coordinated institutions and public alignment.
