Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission

तथैव च स राजर्षिस्तस्थौ तां रजनीं तदा । सभार्यों वाग्यत: श्रीमानू न च कोपं समाविशत्‌,वे श्रीमान्‌ राजर्षि अपनी स्त्रीके साथ उसी तरह वहाँ रातभर चुपचाप खड़े रह गये; किंतु उनके मनमें क्रोधका आवेश नहीं हुआ

tathaiva ca sa rājarṣis tasthau tāṃ rajanīṃ tadā | sa-bhāryo vāg-yataḥ śrīmān na ca kopaṃ samāviśat ||

Bhishma berkata: “Demikianlah juga, raja resi itu tetap berdiri di sana sepanjang malam itu. Walaupun ditemani isterinya, baginda yang mulia mengekang tutur katanya, dan tiada gelora marah memasuki hatinya.”
