Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Hospitality, Service, and Lineage Questions
विप्रवादा: सुबहव: श्रूयन्ते पुत्रकारिता: । अत्र नो मुहतां राजन् संशयं छेत्तुमहसि,पुत्रोंके निमित्त बहुत-सी विभिन्न बातें सुनी जाती हैं। राजन! इस विषयमें हम मोहित होनेके कारण कुछ निश्चय नहीं कर पाते; अतः आप हमारे इस संशयका निवारण करें
vipravādāḥ subahavaḥ śrūyante putrakāritāḥ | atra no muhatāṃ rājan saṃśayaṃ chettum arhasi ||
Bhishma berkata: “Banyak dan pelbagai pendapat didengar dalam kalangan orang berilmu tentang perihal memperoleh putera. Dalam hal ini, wahai Raja, kami menjadi keliru dan tidak mampu mencapai keputusan yang teguh; maka patutlah tuanku memutuskan keraguan kami dan menetapkannya.”
