Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
करोति वा स रूपाणि धारयत्यपि पर्वतम् । गोरूपं च महादेवो हस्त्यश्वोष्टखराकृति:
karoti vā sa rūpāṇi dhārayaty api parvatam | go-rūpaṃ ca mahādevo hasty-aśvoṣṭa-kharākṛtiḥ ||
Vāsudeva berkata: “Baginda menyarung banyak rupa; bahkan mampu menanggung sebuah gunung. Mahādeva juga menzahirkan diri sebagai lembu, dan dalam bentuk gajah, kuda, unta, serta keldai.”
