Ādi Parva, Adhyāya 193 — Hastināpura Mantra: Duryodhana’s Proposals to Divide the Pāṇḍavas

तान्‌ सिंहविक्रान्तगतीन्‌ निरीक्ष्य महर्षभाक्षानजिनोत्तरीयान्‌ । गूढोत्तरांसान्‌ भुजगेन्द्र भोग- प्रलम्बबाहून्‌ पुरुषप्रवीरान्‌

tān siṁha-vikrānta-gatīn nirīkṣya maharṣabhākṣān ajinottarīyān | gūḍhottarāṁsān bhujagendra-bhoga-pralamba-bāhūn puruṣa-pravīrān, rājan |

Vaiśaṃpāyana berkata: Wahai raja, tatkala melihat para lelaki terunggul itu—para Pāṇḍava—yang langkahnya menzahirkan gagah seperti singa, matanya besar laksana mata lembu jantan perkasa, berselimut kulit kijang hitam sebagai pakaian atas, tulang selangka terlindung oleh daging yang tegap, dan lengan mereka panjang, tebal serta besar seperti lilitan raja ular—maka Raja Drupada, bersama putera-putera baginda, para menteri, para penyokong, sahabat, dan seluruh para pelayan, semuanya menjadi amat bersukacita.
