अर्जुनस्य लक्ष्यवेधः
Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara
इच्छन्नपचितिं कर्तु भूगूणां भूगुनन्दन: । सर्वलोकविनाशाय तपसा महतैधित:
icchann apacitiṁ kartuṁ bhṛgūṇāṁ bhṛgunandanaḥ | sarvalokavināśāya tapasā mahataidhitaḥ ||
Vasiṣṭha berkata: Dengan hasrat untuk menunaikan penghormatan dan pembalasan yang wajar kepada kaum Bhṛgu, Aurva—kebanggaan yang menggembirakan keturunan Bhṛgu—telah bertekad memusnahkan segala dunia; dan dengan tapa yang maha dahsyat, baginda memperhebatkan kekuatannya dengan amat besar.
