अध्याय ९६: शरभ-प्रादुर्भावः, नृसिंह-दर्पशमनम्, विष्णोः शिवस्तुतिः, फलश्रुति

विष्णुमायानिरसनं देवतापरमार्थदम् वाञ्छासिद्धिप्रदं चैव ऋद्धिप्रज्ञादिसाधनम्

viṣṇumāyānirasanaṃ devatāparamārthadam vāñchāsiddhipradaṃ caiva ṛddhiprajñādisādhanam

Ia menyingkirkan māyā yang memperdaya, yang terkait dengan kuasa kosmik Viṣṇu, serta menyingkap maksud tertinggi Ketuhanan. Ia juga menganugerahkan tercapainya hajat, dan menjadi sarana memperoleh kemakmuran, kebijaksanaan luhur, serta pencapaian yang seumpamanya.
