“Nāḍī, Rāśiśukā, Asurā, Kṛttikā dan Bhāsvatī”—nāḍī-nāḍī ini disebut sebagai empat belas “ikatan pengatur” (nibandhana) yang menertibkan aturan kosmos.
Suta Goswami (narrating the Purva-Bhaga tradition to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It frames time-and-cosmos as structured by fixed ‘bindings’ (nibandhanas); Linga worship is performed within such order, yet aims at realizing Shiva as Pati who is not limited by these cosmic constraints.
By listing regulatory divisions of the cosmos, it implicitly contrasts them with Shiva-tattva: Shiva is the sovereign ground (Pati) who upholds order but remains transcendent to the enumerated bindings that condition the pashu (individual soul).
The verse supports nakshatra-aware discipline—choosing auspicious temporal divisions for vrata, japa, and Linga-puja—while Pashupata Yoga emphasizes moving from pasha (conditioning order) toward union with Pati (Shiva).
