शिवार्चनविधिः — देवतानां पाशुपतव्रतप्राप्तिः तथा पशुपाशविमोक्षणम् (अध्याय ८०)

गणेशायतनैर् दिव्यैः पद्मरागमयैस् तथा चन्दनैर्विविधाकारैः पुष्पोद्यानैश् च शोभनैः

gaṇeśāyatanair divyaiḥ padmarāgamayais tathā candanairvividhākāraiḥ puṣpodyānaiś ca śobhanaiḥ

Ia dihiasi dengan tempat suci Gaṇeśa yang bersifat ilahi, diperbuat daripada batu delima (padmarāga); dengan kayu cendana pelbagai bentuk; serta taman bunga yang indah—susunan yang membawa berkat, menyokong pemujaan Śiva dengan menyingkirkan halangan dan menyucikan pāśa, ikatan yang mengikat paśu (jiwa) kepada saṃsāra.
