अद्भिः संछादितां भूमिं स तामाशु प्रजापतिः उपगम्योज्जहारैनाम् आपश्चापि समाविशत्
adbhiḥ saṃchāditāṃ bhūmiṃ sa tāmāśu prajāpatiḥ upagamyojjahārainām āpaścāpi samāviśat
Tatkala Bumi diselubungi air, Prajāpati segera mendekatinya lalu mengangkatnya; dan air-air itu pun kembali memasuki tempatnya yang wajar.

It frames creation as a restoration of cosmic order: just as the Earth is raised from the waters, the Linga is revered as the stabilizing sign of Pati (Shiva) who establishes dharma and supports the worlds.
Though Prajāpati is named, the Purāṇic intent aligns with Shaiva Siddhānta: all creative lifting and ordering ultimately proceeds from Pati—Shiva as the inner sovereign cause who empowers the creator to manifest the worlds.
The imagery emphasizes apah (sacred waters) and purification—supporting Shaiva puja practice where water offerings (snāna/abhiṣeka) symbolize cleansing pasha (bondage) and restoring the pashu (soul) to right order under Pati.
