जम्बूद्वीपस्य नववर्षविभागः रुद्रस्य अष्टक्षेत्रसन्निधिः नाभि-ऋषभ-भरतकथा
इत्येतानि महान्तीह नव वर्षाणि भागशः आग्नीध्रस्तेषु वर्षेषु पुत्रांस्तानभिषिच्य वै

Demikianlah, di dunia ini terdapat sembilan wilayah besar (varṣa), dibahagi menurut bahagian masing-masing. Agnīdhra sesungguhnya menobatkan putera-putera baginda di wilayah-wilayah itu, menempatkan setiap seorang dalam kuasa yang wajar.
