Prāyaścitta for Theft, Forbidden Foods, Impurity, and Ritual Lapses; Tīrtha–Vrata Remedies; Pativratā Mahātmyam via Sītā and Agni

ब्राह्मणस्तु शुना दष्टस्त्र्यहं सायं पयः पिबेत् / नाभेरूर्ध्वं तु दष्टस्य तदेव द्विगुणं भवेत्

brāhmaṇastu śunā daṣṭastryahaṃ sāyaṃ payaḥ pibet / nābherūrdhvaṃ tu daṣṭasya tadeva dviguṇaṃ bhavet

Jika seorang Brāhmaṇa digigit anjing, selama tiga hari hendaklah dia minum susu pada waktu petang. Tetapi jika gigitan itu di atas pusat, amalan yang sama itu menjadi dua kali ganda ukurannya.
