न शीर्णायां तु खट्वायां शून्यागारे न चैव हि / नानुवंशं न पालाशे शयने वा कदाचन

Jangan sekali-kali berbaring tidur di atas katil yang rosak, dan jangan pula di rumah yang kosong terbiar. Jangan juga tidur di atas rangka buluh, atau di atas tempat tidur daripada kayu palāśa—pada bila-bila masa.
