Svāyambhuva Lineage to Dakṣa; Pṛthu’s Devotion; Pāśupata Saṃnyāsa; Dakṣa–Satī Episode

त्यक्त्वा देहमिमं ब्रह्मन् क्षत्रियाणां कुलोद्भवः / स्वस्यां सुतायां मूढात्मा पुत्रमुत्पादयिष्यसि

tyaktvā dehamimaṃ brahman kṣatriyāṇāṃ kulodbhavaḥ / svasyāṃ sutāyāṃ mūḍhātmā putramutpādayiṣyasi

Wahai Brahmana, setelah engkau meninggalkan jasad ini, meskipun lahir daripada keturunan Ksatria yang mulia, namun engkau—dengan akal yang tersesat—akan memperanakkan seorang putera melalui puterimu sendiri.
