Svāyambhuva Lineage to Dakṣa; Pṛthu’s Devotion; Pāśupata Saṃnyāsa; Dakṣa–Satī Episode

ध्रुवात् श्लिष्टिञ्च भव्यं च भार्या शम्भुर्व्यजायत / श्लिष्टेराधत्त सुच्छाया पञ्च पुत्रानकल्पषान्

dhruvāt śliṣṭiñca bhavyaṃ ca bhāryā śambhurvyajāyata / śliṣṭerādhatta succhāyā pañca putrānakalpaṣān

Daripada Dhruva, isterinya Śambhu melahirkan Śliṣṭi dan Bhavya. Dan daripada Śliṣṭi, Succhāyā mengandung lima orang putera yang suci, tanpa cela dalam perilaku.
