हव्यं वहति यो नित्यं रौद्री तेजोमयो तनुः / कव्यं पितृगणानां च तस्मै वह्न्यात्मने नमः

havyaṃ vahati yo nityaṃ raudrī tejomayo tanuḥ / kavyaṃ pitṛgaṇānāṃ ca tasmai vahnyātmane namaḥ

Sembah sujud kepada Tuhan yang Diri-Nya sendiri adalah Api (Agni): pembawa havya, persembahan suci kepada para dewa, sentiasa; tubuh-Nya bersinar sebagai tenaga menyala Rudra; dan Dia juga menyampaikan kavya, persembahan kepada para Pitṛ. Kepada Diri-Api itu, salam hormat.
