वृष्णे: सुमित्र: पुत्रोऽभूद् युधाजिच्च परन्तप । शिनिस्तस्यानमित्रश्च निघ्नोऽभूदनमित्रत: ॥ १२ ॥
vṛṣṇeḥ sumitraḥ putro ’bhūd yudhājic ca parantapa śinis tasyānamitraś ca nighno ’bhūd anamitrataḥ
Wahai Raja Parīkṣit, penunduk musuh, putera-putera Vṛṣṇi ialah Sumitra dan Yudhājit. Daripada Yudhājit lahir Śini dan Anamitra, dan daripada Anamitra lahir seorang putera bernama Nighna.
