Devas in Dvārakā, Brahmā’s Petition, and Uddhava’s Appeal
Prabhāsa Departure Set-Up

Muni-vāsa-nivāse kiṁ ghaṭetāriṣṭa-darśanam: there is no possibility of actual disturbances or inauspicious events in holy places inhabited by saintly persons. Thus the so-called disturbances in Dvārakā were directly enacted by the Personality of Godhead for His own auspicious purpose.
This verse states that great portents arose in Dvārakā, and upon seeing them, Śrī Kṛṣṇa addressed the assembled Yadu elders—indicating a significant turning point in the Dvārakā līlā.
Because the elders were the responsible leaders of the Yadu dynasty; seeing extraordinary omens, Kṛṣṇa chose to address them collectively to guide the next course of action in the unfolding events.
Like Kṛṣṇa’s composed response—first observe clearly, then consult wise elders or scriptures, and act with steadiness and dharma rather than fear.
