The Disappearance of the Yadu Dynasty and Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Departure
This verse shows that direct vision of the Supreme Lord can shatter arrogance—fear and awe arise, and the offender instinctively bows at the Lord’s feet in submission.
It emphasizes the Lord’s role as the destroyer of demoniac tendencies—He protects devotees and subdues those opposed to dharma, making the sinful person tremble and surrender.
Recognize wrongdoing without excuses and practice humility—offer sincere repentance and take shelter of God through prayer, chanting, and corrective action, rather than defending the ego.
