वि॒शां च॒ वै स सब॑न्धूनां॒ चान्न॑स्य चा॒न्नाद्य॑स्य च प्रि॒यं धाम॑ भवति॒ य ए॒वं वेद॑

viśā́m ca váí sá sábandhūnā́m cā́nnasya cānnā́dyasya ca priyáṃ dhā́ma bhavati yá eváṃ véda

He verily becometh a dear and favoured seat among the clans, among the kindred, and in respect of food and the enjoyment of food—whoso thus knoweth.

Sesungguhnya dia menjadi tempat kedudukan yang dikasihi dan diutamakan dalam kalangan kaum-kaum (viś), dalam kalangan sanak-saudara dan kerabat, serta pada hal makanan dan kenikmatan makanan—sesiapa yang mengetahui demikian.
