Ayurvedic chikitsā guidance: for gulma, adopt an anabhiṣyandi (non-obstructive, light) diet and use lodhra-bark as a dietary adjunct, while carefully avoiding vāta-aggravating factors.
It shows the text functioning as a practical handbook: alongside theology and ritual, it preserves clinical Ayurvedic dietetics and materia medica (e.g., lodhra) for specific disease categories like gulma.
By prescribing disciplined restraint (yatna) and regulated diet, the verse frames health-care as dharmic self-governance—maintaining bodily balance supports steadiness in sādhana, duties, and purity of conduct.
