Viṣṇu-Pañjara (विष्णुपञ्जरम्) — The Protective Armor of Viṣṇu

Alamkara Type: Tattva-stuti with yathā…tathā parallelism; śleṣa of names (Hari/Keśava/Acyuta) as layered theology
Concept: Non-dual theism: Hari as Parabrahman and as the universe’s very form; satya (truth) as efficacious power when aligned with nāma-kīrtana.
Application: Reframe adversity as ‘trividha aśubha’ and respond with steady practice: truthful living + consistent nāma-japa to reduce reactivity and restore dharmic orientation.

It teaches a stotra-prayoga based on satya (a truth-formula): affirming Vishnu as Supreme Brahman and cosmic form, then applying that truth as the efficacy-basis for Acyuta-nāma-kīrtana to remove inauspiciousness.
Alongside its many technical disciplines, the Agni Purana also preserves practical devotional technologies—name-chanting, truth-formulas, and sin-removing praises—showing that ritual-spiritual methods are treated as actionable knowledge within its encyclopedic scope.
By invoking the truth of Hari’s supreme identity and chanting Acyuta’s name, the verse seeks destruction of “threefold” aśubha—commonly understood as misfortune/sin arising from body, speech, and mind (or from past, present, and future causes).
