Procedure for Preliminary Consecration in Vāstu–Pratiṣṭhā / Īśāna-kalpa

शक्त्यादिशक्तिपर्यन्ते विन्यसेदासने शुभे बहुरूपेण इति ग , घ , ज च स्तुत्यादिभिस्तुत्यमर्घयेदिति ख , छ च पुरुषात्मनेति ख , ग , घ , छ च समाचर्येति ग तर्पयेदिति ख , छ च शक्त्यादिमूर्तिपर्यन्ते इति ख , घ , ज च पश्चिमे पिण्डिकान्तस्य न्यसेद्ब्रह्मशलान्तदा

śaktyādiśaktiparyante vinyasedāsane śubhe bahurūpeṇa iti ga , gha , ja ca stutyādibhistutyamarghayediti kha , cha ca puruṣātmaneti kha , ga , gha , cha ca samācaryeti ga tarpayediti kha , cha ca śaktyādimūrtiparyante iti kha , gha , ja ca paścime piṇḍikāntasya nyasedbrahmaśalāntadā

Di atas āsana yang bertuah, hendaklah dilakukan nyāsa bermula dari “Śakti” hingga ke penghujung siri Śakti sebagaimana ditetapkan. Dengan mantra “Bahurūpeṇa …”, serta dengan pujian dan seumpamanya, hendaklah dipersembahkan arghya kepada Yang layak dipuji. Dengan “Puruṣātman …”, dan setelah melaksanakan perbuatan yang ditentukan dengan sempurna, hendaklah dipersembahkan tarpana. Dengan “Śaktyādi-mūrti-paryante …”, kemudian di bahagian barat, sepanjang piṇḍikā (tapak tempat duduk) hingga ke hujungnya, hendaklah diletakkan nyāsa sampai ke batas Brahma-śalā.
