Ayurvedic viṣa-hara (anti-poison) therapeutics: a topical washing (secanam) and a compound of specific herbs/spices prescribed for lūtā (spider-bite/arachnid poisoning).
It preserves practical medical knowledge alongside theology—listing identifiable materia medica (nirguṇḍī, śārivā, śuṇṭhī, niśā-dvaya, etc.) and a concrete protocol for treating a specific toxin-related condition.
By framing compassionate healing and protection from poison within a Purāṇic teaching, the text presents bodily care as dharmic action—reducing suffering (dayā) and supporting purity and steadiness for religious life.
