FAQs

Ayurvedic therapeutics (bhaiṣajya): a colic-relieving formulation using pippalī and saindhava, administered with warm water, along with a compound of nāgara, ativīṣā, mustā, anantā, and bilva.

It preserves practical medical guidance—specific herbs, a mode of administration (warm-water anupāna), and an indicated condition (śūla)—showing the text’s coverage beyond theology into applied Ayurveda.

By promoting healing and relief of suffering through dharmic, traditional medicine, it supports well-being (ārogya) that enables ritual practice, study, and righteous living—an indirect merit through sustaining dharma.
