कणिकां विनेति क , ञ च स्मर त्वं वारुणीं कन्यां स्मर त्वं कौस्तुभं मणिं क्षिरोदसागरे चैव मथ्यमाने सुरासुरैः

kaṇikāṃ vineti ka , ña ca smara tvaṃ vāruṇīṃ kanyāṃ smara tvaṃ kaustubhaṃ maṇiṃ kṣirodasāgare caiva mathyamāne surāsuraiḥ

Ingatlah suku kata ‘ka’ dan ‘ña’ sebagai penghapus kekotoran; ingatlah gadis Vāruṇī; ingatlah permata Kaustubha—semuanya muncul ketika Lautan Susu dikocak oleh para dewa dan asura.
