FAQs

It gives an Ayurvedic regimen: Triphalā-infused oil taken/used with honey plus exercise and allied practices to reduce kapha, and it adds a devotional upāya—Viṣṇu-dhyāna and pūjā—for overall disease pacification.

In a single verse it integrates classical Ayurveda (doṣa-based therapy and formulations like Triphalā taila) with Purāṇic religious practice (Viṣṇu worship), showing the text’s characteristic blending of practical health science and spiritual discipline.

By prescribing Viṣṇu’s meditation and worship alongside medicine, the verse frames healing as both bodily (doṣa-balancing) and dharmic—purifying the mind and generating merit that supports restoration and well-being.
