FAQs

No ritual or technical vidyā is taught here; the verse conveys motivational force (utsāha) and renewed capability arising from hearing Rāma’s message, as Hanumān prepares to locate Sītā in the Aśoka grove.

It shows the Agni Purāṇa’s encyclopedic scope by incorporating Itihāsa narrative (Ramāyaṇa material) alongside its many instructional domains—preserving cultural memory, exemplars of dharma, and devotional ideals within the same compendium.

The verse highlights śravaṇa (hearing the Lord’s name and deeds) as spiritually energizing—devotional hearing renews strength and resolve, enabling dharmic action in service of Rāma.
