An Exposition on the Causes of Happiness and Suffering

तस्याहं न प्रणश्यामि स च मे न प्रणश्यति ॥ एतत्ते कथितं भद्रे शुभनिर्देशनिश्चयः ॥ सर्वलोकहितार्थाय यन्मां त्वं परिपृच्छसि ॥

tasyāhaṃ na praṇaśyāmi sa ca me na praṇaśyati | etat te kathitaṃ bhadre śubhanirdeśaniścayaḥ | sarvalokahitārthāya yan māṃ tvaṃ paripṛcchasi ||

त्याच्यासाठी मी नष्ट होत नाही आणि तोही माझ्यासाठी नष्ट होत नाही. हे भद्रे, शुभ मार्गदर्शनाचा हा निश्चित निर्णय तुला सांगितला आहे, कारण तू सर्व लोकांच्या हितासाठी मला विचारतेस.
