स तु मूढमतिर्मेने अहं विष्णुरिति प्रिये । चिह्नानि धारयामास चक्रादीनि वरानने
sa tu mūḍhamatirmene ahaṃ viṣṇuriti priye | cihnāni dhārayāmāsa cakrādīni varānane
परंतु तो मूढबुद्धी, हे प्रिये, ‘मीच विष्णू आहे’ असे मानू लागला। हे वरानने, त्याने चक्रादी चिन्हे धारण करायला सुरुवात केली।
