Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Kāmeśvara; Ratīśvara
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva speaks to Devī, pointing out the next stations: Kāmeśvara, then northward three bow-lengths to Ratīśvara, famed since Tretā-yuga; pilgrims traverse between two shrines.
Pilgrimage is taught as a disciplined movement through sacred space—approaching Śiva through named liṅgas and their consecrated geography.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra, specifically the Kāmeśvara and Ratīśvara Śiva-sites within its northern sector.
A yātrā instruction: ‘one should go’ to Kāmeśvara and then to Ratīśvara, identified by directional and distance markers.
