ब्रह्मकूर्चं चरेद्यस्तु सोमाष्टम्यां विधानतः । अघोरेश्वरसांनिध्ये अघोरेणाभिमंत्रितम् । षडब्दस्य महत्तेन प्रायश्चित्तं कृतं भवेत्
brahmakūrcaṃ caredyastu somāṣṭamyāṃ vidhānataḥ | aghoreśvarasāṃnidhye aghoreṇābhimaṃtritam | ṣaḍabdasya mahattena prāyaścittaṃ kṛtaṃ bhavet
जो सोमाष्टमीला विधिपूर्वक ब्रह्मकूर्च-व्रत आचरतो आणि अघोरेश्वराच्या सान्निध्यात अघोर-मंत्राने अभिमंत्रित होऊन ते पूर्ण करतो, त्याच्या महत्त्वाने सहा वर्षांचे प्रायश्चित्त सिद्ध होते।
