pāpaghnaṃ sarvajaṃtūnāṃ darśanātsparśanādapi | tatra kaścicchukaḥ pūrvaṃ nīḍaṃ devi cakāra ha
हे सर्व प्राण्यांचे पाप नष्ट करणारे आहे—केवळ दर्शनाने किंवा स्पर्शानेही. हे देवी, तेथे पूर्वी एका शुकाने (पोपटाने) आपले घरटे केले होते.
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: A radiant coastal kṣetra-temple precinct at Prabhāsa; pilgrims at a distance merely beholding the shrine while a green parrot begins to weave a nest in a high niche, suggesting even animals are drawn into the tīrtha’s field of merit.
A true tīrtha radiates grace so widely that even simple contact—seeing or touching—purifies all beings.
Vaiśvānareśvara of Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
No formal rite is required here; the verse emphasizes the efficacy of darśana and sparśana.
