ततः सप्तदशे कल्पे पितृकल्पे तु विश्रुता । दक्षस्य दुहिता जाता सतीनाम्नी महाप्रभा
tataḥ saptadaśe kalpe pitṛkalpe tu viśrutā | dakṣasya duhitā jātā satīnāmnī mahāprabhā
त्यानंतर सतराव्या कल्पात—‘पितृकल्प’ म्हणून विश्रुत—तू दक्षाची कन्या म्हणून जन्मलीस; महाप्रभा ‘सती’ या नावाने प्रसिद्ध झालीस.
