ततस्तुष्टमना देवो ग्रहत्वं तस्य तद्ददौ । तं संपूज्य विधानेन सोमपुत्रप्रतिष्ठितम् । सौम्याष्टम्यां विशेषेण राजसूयफलं लभेत्
tatastuṣṭamanā devo grahatvaṃ tasya taddadau | taṃ saṃpūjya vidhānena somaputrapratiṣṭhitam | saumyāṣṭamyāṃ viśeṣeṇa rājasūyaphalaṃ labhet
त्यानंतर देव प्रसन्नचित्त होऊन त्याला ग्रहत्व प्रदान करतो. चंद्रपुत्र बुधाने प्रतिष्ठित केलेल्या त्या (बुधेश्वर) लिंगाची विधिपूर्वक पूजा केल्यास—विशेषतः सौम्याष्टमीला—राजसूय यज्ञाचे फळ प्राप्त होते.
