कृत्वा व्याघ्रस्य रूपं तु नाम्ना चक्रमुखीति च । हता वै तेन रूपेण ततोऽभूद्दैत्यसूदनः
kṛtvā vyāghrasya rūpaṃ tu nāmnā cakramukhīti ca | hatā vai tena rūpeṇa tato'bhūddaityasūdanaḥ
त्याने व्याघ्ररूप धारण केले आणि ‘चक्रमुखी’ या नावानेही तो प्रसिद्ध झाला। त्या रूपातच त्याने त्यांचा वध केला; त्या कर्मामुळे तो ‘दैत्यसूदन’ म्हणून ओळखला गेला.
