अथान्ये तापसा रात्रौ संयुताश्च च धृतायुधाः । अथोच्छेदं गते धर्मे पीडितास्त्रिदिवौकसः
athānye tāpasā rātrau saṃyutāśca ca dhṛtāyudhāḥ | athocchedaṃ gate dharme pīḍitāstridivaukasaḥ
मग अन्य तपस्वी रात्रौ एकत्र येऊन शस्त्रधारी झाले; आणि धर्माचा उच्छेद होत असता त्रिदिवातील देवगण अत्यंत पीडित झाले।
