अत्रांतरे सोऽपि विमृश्य सर्वं कार्यं स्वबुद्ध्या किमिहोपपन्नम् । कृत्वाऽनलस्य ग्रहणं मयेदं कार्यं सुराणां विहितं भवेच्च
atrāṃtare so'pi vimṛśya sarvaṃ kāryaṃ svabuddhyā kimihopapannam | kṛtvā'nalasya grahaṇaṃ mayedaṃ kāryaṃ surāṇāṃ vihitaṃ bhavecca
दरम्यान त्यानेही सर्व काही स्वबुद्धीने विचारले—इथे कोणता उपाय योग्य आहे? ‘मी हा अनल स्वीकारला तर देवांनी ठरविलेले हे कार्य नक्कीच माझ्यामुळे सिद्ध होईल.’
