आपस्तंब उवाच । श्रमेण महताविष्टाः कैवर्त्ता दुःखजीविनः । मम मूल्यं प्रयच्छेति यद्योग्यं मन्यसे नृप
āpastaṃba uvāca | śrameṇa mahatāviṣṭāḥ kaivarttā duḥkhajīvinaḥ | mama mūlyaṃ prayaccheti yadyogyaṃ manyase nṛpa
आपस्तंब म्हणाले—“मोठ्या श्रमाने पीडित, दुःखाने जगणारे कैवर्त म्हणतात—‘आमचे मूल्य द्या.’ हे नृपा, योग्य वाटल्यास ते पारितोषिक द्या.”
