गव्यूतिमात्रं तत्रैव शून्यं मानुषवर्जितम् । एवं दृष्ट्वा स राजा तु संतप्तो वाक्यमब्रवीत्
gavyūtimātraṃ tatraiva śūnyaṃ mānuṣavarjitam | evaṃ dṛṣṭvā sa rājā tu saṃtapto vākyamabravīt
तेथेच सुमारे एक गव्यूतीपर्यंतचा प्रदेश ओस, मनुष्यवर्जित होता. हे पाहून राजा शोकाने संतप्त होऊन असे बोलला.
